  • Mindful Moments: How to be present for your life
    In this class you will learn meditation techniques to help increase calm and a sense of ease in all of life’s moments. Through scientifically documented practices such as mindfulness and loving-kindness meditations, one learns to cultivate kindness, compassion, ease and a general appreciation for our experiences, including the difficult moments.
    Come learn how to de-stress naturally and how to have more control over your reactions to daily life.


    Tom Karuna-
    Tom has been studying meditation for 12 years now. He has studied with Buddhist monks and a multitude of accomplished teachers. His experience ranges from participating in week-long silent retreats to teaching meditation to varied populations, from high-stressed CEOs to retired baby boomers to drug addicts looking for help in easing cravings. Having been a teacher, not only of meditation, but anatomy and physiology as well, his knowledge goes far beyond the spiritual practices of yoga and meditation to incorporate the workings of the human body and mind in a holistic and personal manner.
